Grape Arbor opens First Fruits Shoppe

On Friday, October 29, 2010, Grape Arbor launched the opening of its First Fruits Shoppe via a silent auction at its 2nd Annual Harvest Banquet.  November 8, 2010, is the official date that the Shoppe will begin to provide private showings of items to members of the general public, by appointment.  This social entrepreneurship venture will provide training opportunities for students and clients as well as much-needed revenues to sustain program operations.

The First Fruits Shoppe is based on the promise of Proverbs 3:9-10.  "Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine."  We thank our families and friends who so generously donate their first fruits (treasured and valued items) so that we might continue to serve the youth and families of our community.

We have beautiful and unique home furnishings, art, jewelry, dishes, glassware, and many other items that may be purchased at a fraction of estimated market value.

For a private showing of items in the First Fruits Shoppe, call Peggy or Angela at 919 967-9661 and schedule an appointment.
